About the Position: This position is with the 9th Mission Support Command, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Force Management located at Fort Shafter Flats, Hawaii.

Duties

Analyze force structure initiatives affecting command MTOE and TDA. Develop alternative methods for achieving force structure end state. Establish measurement components of workload data for functional analysis studies and administration of command structure and manpower requirements. Advise subordinate units concerning manpower and force structure matters. Develop new internal guidance and instructions in relation to manpower and force structure. Analyze organizational structures, missions, functions, workloads and proposed organizational structures for productivity, efficiencies and improvements. Recommend proposed and approved Modified Table of Equipment (MTOE) and Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) changes to command staff.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
