Duties
Major Duties of the Position:
This position will perform Director, Quantitative Reasoning Center/Evening supplemental instruction/tutoring and faculty duties for the Dean of the Faculty. This position will direct the activities of the Quantitative Reasoning Center (QRC) and assist the Deputy Head of Student Academic Services/Director of the Academic Success Center (ASC) with the management and activities of the QRC and ASC. This position will oversee development and implementation of programs and services and daily operation of the QRC as well as establish productive partnerships with faculty, staff, and administrators in order to maximize opportunities for students to benefit from Center services. Responsibilities will include the development of performance plans, professional development, evaluations, and activities and services of QRC personnel. This position will teach undergraduate courses in a discipline appropriate to their academic credentials and experience. This position will promote professional activities in the areas of specialization and participate in academic, military, airmanship, and athletic courses and curriculum development and implementation when requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate in discipline of physics, mathematics, chemistry, or engineering
ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES:

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least three years Teaching experience in higher education; supervisory experience; one year experience working in and/or directing similar type of Center

FOREIGN EDUCATION:
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the educational requirements.
