About the Position: Serves as the principal staff officer/advisor to the USAREC Commander responsible for accomplishing all matters pertaining to Virtual Recruiting for all nationwide recruiting programs for Regular Army (RA) and Army Reserve (AR).
Duties
Advise commander on all virtual recruiting policy decisions.
Develop and manage the annual budget requirements.
Ensure compliance with policy, guidance and instructions.
Responsible for providing content development.
Prepare and deliver briefs on virtual operations.
Oversee the Virtual Recruiting Center contract, Social Media Managers contact, and the Mass Texting contract with contractors.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and access.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 15% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: manage day-to-day operations; advise on virtual recruiting policy and strategy; provide content management recommendations; prepare and deliver virtual briefs; develop, implement and test virtual recruiting efforts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
