Duties

As the Chief, Personnel Security Division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the protection of USSF assets, personnel, and classified information. You will have complete management and oversight responsibilities in accordance with Department of Defense (DOD), Department of the Air Force (DAFI), and USSF guidance.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance.
• This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
• May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
• Employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall. Incumbent may be required to report to work during base exercises,
• (cont) contingencies, or emergency situations and overtime/comp time/credit hours may be required to accomplish assigned duties. May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
• Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
• This position is not eligible for remote or telework.
• PCS funding is authorized.
