You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Placement (N922) of NSTC GREAT LAKES.
Duties
You will plan, develop and implement specific critical support programs in the areas of selection, placement, academic evaluation, and student support.
You will independent interaction at multiple levels with numerous external and internal organization.
You will monitor, plan, and coordinate tasks for evolutions related to the administration of nation-wide programs with their field and fleet activities.
You will perform program analysis, provide technical administration and evaluation duties for assigned programs (NROTC and STA-21), recommend policy guidance, and provide review for the Naval Science Institute (NSI) portion of the STA-21 program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Implementing and conducting analyses on varies policies, procedures, requirements and program allocated resources; 2) Monitoring and tracking budgets and other relative data and identify potential problems, discrepancies and provide solutions; 3) Coordinating with various organizations, personnel and customers to manage processes and procedures related to the program; and 4) Utilizing databases to extract data and prepare statistical reports, briefs, corresponds, spreadsheets and presentations.
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing support duties for programs by performing a variety of administrative, training, educational and technical actions (i.e. Preparing reports, briefings, spreadsheets and other correspondences); 2) Identifying, developing and providing information, data and resources in support of program guidelines, requirements and procedures; 3) Managing various phone calls and queries, as well as liaisons with various organizations, personnel and customers related to the program; and 4) Utilize database systems to enter, monitor, review data and discrepancies.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09: Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree, or Obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
GS-07: Successfully completed 1 full year of graduate level education, or Successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academicachievement.
