The primary purpose of this position is to To serve as a senior operations planner in support of Cyber National Mission
Force operational planning related to its Defend the Nation (DTN) in cyberspace mission.
Duties
DUTY 1: Serves as a senior future operations planner in support of Cyber National Mission Force operational planning related to its Defend the Nation (DTN) in cyberspace mission.
DUTY 2: Coordinates and manages CNMF National Support Teams (NSTs) operational employment to meet CNMF operational requirements in support National Mission Team (NMTs) and National Cyber Protection Teams (N-CPTs) mission execution. Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for CDR CNMF concerning NST issues.
DUTY 3: Develops analytical inputs for CNMF cyberspace plans and operations and produces layman explanations on these technical/
analytical activities.
DUTY 4: Attends meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to Cyberspace Operations.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
This is a GG-13 position in the Cyber Excepted Service (CES). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: a broad knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of various aspects of Cyber Operations (CO) to plan, manage, and coordinate CO planning projects requiring collaboration with various internal and external components; knowledge of Geographic Combatant Commander (COCOM) CO program roles and responsibilities, as well as COCOMs? use of IT assets to facilitate military operations; and knowledge of and skill in applying the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP), with emphasis on mission analysis, course of action (COA) development and comparison, and plans/orders development. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Ability to conduct military/contingency and crisis action planning for cyberspace operations.
2. Knowledge of and skill in applying the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP), IAW JP 5.0, with emphasis on mission analysis, course of action (COA) development and comparison, and plans/orders development.
3. Ability to provide technical knowledge and skill as a military planning specialist.
4. Broad knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of DoD Computer Network Operations (CNO) to plan, manage and coordinate CNO planning projects requiring collaboration with various internal and external components.
5. Knowledge of Combatant Commander (COCOM) cyber program roles and responsibilities as well as use of IT assets to facilitate day-to-day operations.
6. Skill in communicating complex information concerning CNO initiatives, both orally and in writing, to provide effective briefings and reports to senior leaders.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. Therefore, incumbent is required to: (a) refrain from the use of illegal drugs, and (b) if requested, submit to urinalysis testing. Incumbent may be selected for random drug testing and may be subject to reasonable suspicion testing and safety mishap or accident testing.
