You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) in the UxS Science & Technology Branch of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

You will advise, administer, and support Information Technology (IT) systems. You will be responsible for the technical coordination between all Branch projects and Autonomous Technologies Division, Code 56400, management functions. You will provide guidance on a wide range of ISR topics and participate in Center and external IPTs relevant to ISR systems. You will apply principles for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources, including technical performance. You will lead the development of IT sustainment policies, processes, and contracts across the enterprise, in compliance with approved Defense and Navy policies.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing research, analysis, systems engineering, design, development, acquisition, and/or test and evaluation using innovative methods to ensure state of-the-art defense systems are delivered to Department of Navy (DoN) and Intelligence Communities (IC) programs. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
