About the Position: Serves as Equipment Specialist (Provisioner) with responsibility for provisioning requirements, to include Provisioning Parts List (PPL), Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP), Design Change Notices (DCN), Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL), and Pre-Procurement Screening. Represents CECOM in matters pertaining to Logistics Data requirements over the equipment life cycle.

Duties

Validates and ensures that various system configuration structures identified by the bill of materials are in alignment with maintenance concepts. Ensures quality and accuracy of provisioning logistics data. Provides guidance for developing statements of work (SOW), contract data requirements list (CDRLs) for provisioning, and Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) resulting in a finalized Acquisition Requirements Package (ARP). Ensures that all contractor deliverables conform to Army policy. Collaborates with Program Manager (PM) or Weapon System Team in development of integrated Logistics Support plans. Provides provisioning direction and guidance concerning the logistics support analysis of assigned weapon system. Supports provisioning conferences and attends meetings as a representative of CECOM LCMC.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Secret Security clearance is required.

Specialized and Other Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Experience developing and processing Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Weapon System Support Program (WSSP), PowerLog J, and Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A) Property Accountability Bill of Material (PA BOM) transactions; 2) Experience reviewing Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) for supply management data accuracy; 3) Experience providing technical advice as required for the identification of new or additional repair part sources; and, evaluates and processes requests for interchangeability and substitutability. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: CommunicationsMaintenance Planning and Program DevelopmentSystem Maintenance Performance Review and Analysis Education CANNOT be substituted for experience.
