This position is in the Nursing Ambulatory Care Service.
Duties
Major Duties:
Maintain accuracy of database, queries system in response to management and employee questions and requests for information.
Serve as the computer and data consultant in preparing report spreadsheets, graphics, tables, and flow sheets that facilitate data analysis.
Prepare, executes, and/or tracks specific information to provide assistance in developing statistical data and special reports, compiling/preparing drafts and finalizing papers and/or similar materials in support of the Service.
Review billing invoices received from contract services and/or vendors; this includes the use of spreadsheets for tracking obligations and distributions, logging of submitted documents from the vendor, reviewing for payment incoming individual fee returns, and submission to the business office for payment.
Maintain policy and procedure manuals, assists in quality projects, responsible for maintaining program information packets and brochures.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 09/26/2023.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.
You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: A broad knowledge and experience in the field of patient administration and health benefits; experience communicating both in writing and orally to relay information to customers/management; Ability to use personnel systems to enter, search, update information as needed; experience citing policies and procedures to provide guidance to customers and/or management.

Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary with short periods of walking or standing and carrying completed light loads of books, reports, or documents. However, there are extensive keyboarding demands in the position. No other special physical demands are required to perform the work.
