The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in project management and risk analysis to determine privacy mitigation strategies. Additionally, the candidate will have knowledge of Privacy Compliance documentation (Privacy or Data Impact Assessments, System of Record Notice (SORN), and Privacy Act or Privacy Statements) development and processing, as well as an understanding of fair information practice principle.

Qualifications

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The time-in-grade and qualification requirements must be met within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.   To qualify for this position at the GS-14 level (starting salary $132,368), you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:  Master of privacy policy and regulations as they relate to government agencies; AND Mastery of quantitative and qualitative analysis to implement programmatic changes to increase efficiencies, cost savings and effectiveness; AND Experience briefing various levels of leadership to facilitate goals, objectives and funding requirements.
