About the Position: This position is with the U.S. Army Reserve Command, G-3/5/7, Force Management Directorate, Manpower Authorization Division, located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Duties
Conduct reviews of the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and Modified Table of Equipment (MTOE) to determine impact to justification and distribution of full-time support (FTS) authorizations.
Plan, develop, coordinate, establish, and apply manpower policies, plans, programs, and procedures pertaining to military and Civilian manpower staffing of the Full Time Support (FTS) Program.
Provide advice and assistance to the Geographic Commands, Functional Commands and the USARC staff on manpower issues and FTS program policy application.
Interact diplomatically and effectively with co-workers, staff, and officials from other commands.
Review, analyze, and evaluate Full Time Support Program manpower staffing and resourcing actions submitted by RD, DRCs, and subordinate units.
Analyze the impact in the application of staffing standards, results of force structure actions, and utilization of manpower resources for the Geographic Commands, Functional Commands and the USARC staff.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting organizational studies, reviewing activation and deactivation of units, evaluating organizational changes, and analyzing force structure actions for impact on manpower requirements and/or authorizations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
