You will serve as a Data Management Specialist (Aircraft) in the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Logistics Department, Industrial Logistics Division, CTPL (Central Technical Publications Library) of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will conduct publications reviews to verify their continued validity, proper recording, and availability for use.
You will monitor quality assurance to ensure customer requirements are satisfied.
You will maintain an organizational database for the management of technical, cost, schedule, and performance objectives of an integrated program team (IPT).
You will compose correspondence or other written work (e.g., financial or technical reports, research data) to defend modifications to previously approved plans.
You will coordinate project activities to ensure objectives are accomplished within timeframes and according to procedures.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1) Demonstrating the use of various manuals, instructions and certifications in order to manage the technical publication requirements of an industrial aircraft facility; 2) Utilizing the technical document library in order to show aircraft terminology, aircraft component parts, technical references and specifications effectively; 3) Assuring quality customer service operations through availability and application of complex technical data; 4) Communicating complex information across the NAVAIR organization to show a level of complexity and level of authority to an audience.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: : 1) Demonstrating technical library experience or any type of Government or civilian library function in order to disperse products within a technical library; 2) Leading people of different scopes and sizes to properly execute workload and projects with little to no supervision; 3) Communicating complex information across the NAVAIR organization to show a level of complexity and level of authority to an audience; 4) Demonstrating the ability to use Microsoft and Adobe applications to store electronic files through management directories.
