You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT OFFICE of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will monitor and report metrics, and providing managers with objectively based information for making decisions on the near-term administrative and programmatic aspects of the Logistics and Engineering Groups. You will prepare goals, objectives, and milestones, making adjustments as required; analyzing and considering interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. You will develop and establish FST office procedures as they relate to administrative matters to ensure effective and efficient operation.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, organizing, and directing team work, with input and support from other analysts and subject-matter specialists; 2) Serving as a team leader, where the assistance of other staff is required. Assigning segments of tasking to various participants, coordinating the efforts of the group, and consolidating findings into recommended courses of action; 3) Developing and establishing FST (Fleet Support Team) office procedures as they relate to administrative matters to ensure effective and efficient operation of the FST organization; 4) Performing direct supervisory duties for subordinates; sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
