You will serve as a Supervisory Data Program Specialist in the MRO Production Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will oversee and conduct research on assigned program schedules and completions and provide support to the appropriate personnel. You will serve as a direct liaison with personnel from various departments of the agency, contractors, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and database administrators. You will define resources for project and program implementation and identify issues effectively and assess training needs for employees. You will supervise and assign work to subordinates based on priorities and review their work to accept, amend, or reject the product. You will develop operating policies and directives to ensure consistent and regulatory performance and provide instruction to team members for logs and records requirements.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Overseeing and conducting research on assigned program schedules and completions and providing overarching Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) support to the appropriate personnel; (2) Serving as a direct liaison with personnel from various departments of the agency, contractors, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and OOMA database administrators; (3) Defining resources for project and program implementation and identifying issues effectively and assessing training needs for employees; (4) Supervising and assigning work to subordinates based on priorities and reviewing work of subordinates to accept, amend, or reject the product; and (5) Developing operating policies and directives to ensure consistent and regulatory performance and providing instruction to team members for logs and records requirements.
