You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative Program Specialist in the Command Operations Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will manage functions and activities applicable to the Government Travel process, including, Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC), Program, in addition to Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Directives that pertain to those processes.
You will develop performance measures and monitor procedures and systems for establishing, operating, and assessing the
effectiveness for assigned programs.
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees
You will provide technical oversight of work; develop performance plans and rates employees.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Coordinating, interpreting, and developing agency policies for travel programs including the preparation and processing of all necessary documents for the Government Travel Charge Card; 2. Presenting comprehensive analysis of policies, procedures, and detailed proposals in meetings, conferences, and workshops to maintain an updated knowledge of policies and their applications to the acquisition of materials, travel pay, and cost reduction in the procedures and regulations related to the Government Travel Charge Card; 3. Developing strategic plans based on interpretations of key data, reports, and trends to identify problems such as delinquencies or inappropriate charges and create electronic reports of program metrics for the Command Administration Division Director on a monthly basis; 4. Delegating work to subordinates according to priorities and providing technical oversight to employees.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
