About the Position: The Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Logistics Center Support Directorate, at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, a 38,000-acre installation that is home to over 60 international, Federal, and Department of Defense organizations. It is a major subordinate command of the Army Material Command. The central part of AMCOM's job involves acquisition and sustainment support for aviation and missile systems throughout their lifecycle.

Duties

Utilize Database Tracking Systems to review data to determine the status of technical manuals throughout a weapon systems life cycle. Assist other logistical entities to improve efficiencies for the development or sustainment of military technical manuals. Prepares electronic publications using software such as Extensible Markup Language (XML), Interactive Authorizing and Display System (IADS), and Desktop Publishing to prepare electronic publication.

• You MAY be expected to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Secret Clearance is required.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
