You will serve as a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the Inventory Control Branch of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will plan, coordinate and oversee all physical inventory audits and location surveys for assigned supply areas.
You will conduct follow up procedures to ensure stock record adjustments are completed and record accuracy is maintained.
You will analyze reconciles material and documentation discrepancies with the objective of eliminating error causes.
You will research all warehouse refusals and potential warehouse refusals by careful analysis of stock records and material documentation.
You will prepare all correspondence, memos, and technical documentation in support of assigned efforts.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is designated as a Cyberspace Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Information Technology (IT) level II within 12 months of appointment.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For GS-09 - Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience performing scheduled and unscheduled inventory audits on spot, category, special, and location inventories.
Experience entering and validating into the N-ERP system all completed inventories from the SWS submitted counts and adjusts same based on gain/loss requirements.
Experience carrying out a thorough and intensive pre-inventory research of discrepancies to facilitate the reconciliation of physical counts and in-process transactions with record balances, to prepare the physical count of on-hand balances, and to research and prepare necessary adjustments to stock records.
Experience analyzes stock records, material, and documentation to diagnose and eliminate errors and initiates appropriate action and/or coordination to prevent recurrence.
Experience compiling inventory and audit data and preparing required periodic and special reports for distribution locally and to NAVSUP and WSS, and other major commands when directed by the Supervisor.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For GS-09:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
