The incumbent is a motivated individual responsible for telehealth clinic scheduling, coordination, infectious disease clinical program assistance, and linkage to care for new and returning Veterans within the network of Infectious Disease telehealth clinics based at the main Tampa VA campus and the six Tampa VA affiliated CBOC's of Lakeland, Pasco, Lecanto, Zephyrhills, Riverview, and Brooksville.
Duties
Major Duties Include (but not limited to):
Performs clerical, administrative and technical program support work for the service.
Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
Handles conflict and problems in dealing with customers, constructively and appropriately.
Works both independently and as a member of a team.
Types a variety of documents into final form, ensuring correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, format and style.
Plans, organizes, and establishes priorities while meeting time constraints.
Maintains an automated system of program-specific data to track suspense dates on project milestones, progress reports, funding accomplishments, compliance strategies, etc.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
Telework: This position MAY be authorized for telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.

Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts, or driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform work.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
GS-07 grade level: One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the federal service); experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) and other characteristics to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
Specialized experience includes:
1) Monitors telehealth services, supplies and equipment.
2) Experience scheduling Veteran appointments and managing consults.
3) Schedules meetings, transcribes minutes, gathers reports, and tracks actions for committees.
4) Utilizes a range of software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) to prepare correspondence.
5) Maintains calendar of appointments of patients, meetings and conference calls.
