About the Position: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Administrative Support Assistant (Office Automation) performing duties such as planning, coordinating, and a variety of general administrative and clerical duties for Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC), Joint Base San Antonia-Fort Sam Houston, TX.
Duties
Performs multiple logistical support functions for CHCC, such as inventory control and hand receipt management coordination for DRMO turn-in and ensuring the office has adequate stock of all supplies necessary to support the mission.
Ensures that all equipment is tracked for lifecycle management and programmed for replacement.
Uses a variety of office automation software to create reports and presentations in support of the organization.
Serves as alternate POC for processing Request for Personnel Actions (RPAs) for CHCC and serves as personnel liaison.
Maintains and reports data related to personnel issues to include interfacing with automated personnel systems.
Schedules in-house conferences and meetings in the local area.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Business travel up to 10%.

One year of specialized experience which includes experience composing and preparing a variety of correspondences, reports, and briefings, using a variety of office automation software to create reports and presentations in support of the organization; preparing and/or editing written correspondence, ensuring proper use of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation; research, analyze, interpret and apply rules, regulations, and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NK-01.
