About the Position: Serves as Administrative Support Assistant responsible for providing all administrative support to the Health Care Acquistion Activity, Great Plains Regional Office Contracting Office. This position is located in Fort Sam, Houston.
Duties
Serve as the Research Ethics and Compliance Officer for the Army Human Research Protections Office (AHRPO) within the Office of the Surgeon General (OTSG).
Coordinate appropriate Army regulations, policies, and procedures with ASD(R and E), other DoD components, and Army institutions engaged in or supporting human subjects research.
Negotiating Human Research Protection Programs (HRPP) and Assurances of Compliance (Assurances) with institutions engaged in Army conducted or supported research involving human subjects.
Implement educational programs and producing educational resource materials.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
