About the Position: Serves as Administrative Support Assistant responsible for providing all administrative support to the Health Care Acquisition Activity, Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West. This position is located in Fort Sam, Houston.

Duties

Coordinate appropriate Army regulations, policies, and procedures with ASD(R and E), other DoD components, and Army institutions engaged in or supporting human subjects research. Negotiating Human Research Protection Programs (HRPP) and Assurances of Compliance (Assurances) with institutions engaged in Army conducted or supported research involving human subjects. Implement educational programs and producing educational resource materials.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximately 5% of the time away from your permanent duty station.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NK-02/GS-07). Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
