About the Position: Located in central New Jersey, Burlington County, Fort Dix is 72 miles southwest of New York City, 34 miles northeast of Philadelphia. Close to the Jersey shore, Fort Dix is also within short driving distance of a wide variety of leisure activities, cultural centers, museums, historical locations, fishing, hunting, boating, skiing, snowboarding, hiking locations, etc.

Duties

Attend and actively participate in various Department of Army and major command level conferences, meetings, briefings and evaluation sessions. Publish and update monthly facility training schedules. Review and analyze the Training Requirements Annual Program. Serve as the primary hand receipt holder for installation property, automated data processing equipment, and presentation support equipment assigned to the schoolhouse. Coordinate for billeting support, dining facility services, and local transportation (post shuttle) to support student and instructor requirements. Requisition quantities of course material (to include medical supplies), publications, and/or equipment, and purchase housekeeping supplies sufficient to support the requirement.

• One year supervisory probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate, analyze, develop and implement general guidelines for school training program; and manage a training facility. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Education and Business. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
