You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst in the Administrative Office, Code 1102 of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will plan and conduct program surveys, audits, projects, etc. regarding award programs in a large activity.
You will analyze and evaluate quantitative effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
You will develop, research, and recommend to the Executive Director, policies and policy changes on the varied and complex aspects of the cognizant programs.
You will provide advisory assistance to managers on Shipyard awards programs.
You will advise and recommend to upper management on Awards Program regulations and instructions.
You will coordinate, conduct and direct Incentive Awards Committee meetings which consist of personnel in the management group.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: researching and analyzing organizational data information and awards program operations policies and practices by implementing modernizations of efficiencies and effectiveness within a shipyard administrative organization.
