Duties
Develop and coordinate integrated logistics support plans for vehicle systems programs.
Monitor the logistics support analysis program to identify support systems requirements.
Coordinate with technical specialists to develop corrective actions and recommend approaches to resolve procedural issues.
Identify, plan, source, and implement maintenance concepts, operations, and requirements.
Analyze and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the supply system with respect to both logistic and operational readiness.
Manage assigned repair programs to meet program cost, schedule, and performance.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes [using supply chain automated systems such as the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), the Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) to determine support requirements in the area of production, fielding, or sustainment; providing input for acquisition or life cycle logistics strategies regarding maintenance or supply. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
