You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist at the GG-14 grade level, you will apply your practical and technical expertise to comprehensively analyze naval warfare threats posed by foreign weapon systems, tactical developments, and emerging technologies in Europe and the Middle East.
Duties
You will lead and oversee military and civilian analysts in the production of a broad range of all source finished intelligence products supporting US Navy leadership, Fleet operators, and national security interests.
You will provide leadership and expert guidance to the planning, analysis, and application of a full-range of methodological tools and approaches to gain understanding of complex analytical issues.
You will incorporate insights and findings into well-crafted, in-depth intelligence products.
You will present written and oral briefings to internal and external customers on foreign adversary naval warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures.
You will explain the most complex concepts to non-expert customers and tailor the product to correspond to customer needs.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may be subject to polygraph examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
1) Providing tailored intelligence analysis of foreign naval warfare activities to strategic, operational, or tactical-level customers;
2) Leading analytical teams to produce analysis that meets Intelligence Community analytic tradecraft standards;
3) Applying structured analytic techniques to create intelligence assessments.
