You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist Air Systems Group, Supply Division, Supply Support Branch (NAWCADPAX) supporting the Navy and Marine Corps Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems program office, PMA-263.
Duties
You will be manages and guide supply logistics activities in support of the program office to ensure effective and efficient planning, integration, and phasing of all efforts.
You will exercise resource responsibility/authority over support budgets as they apply to supply support for assigned and planned aircraft and equipment.
You will make recommendation based on use of forecasting tools and methodologies, other technical information, feedback, and funding to ensure an adequate logistics support posture in the area supply support.
You will provide supporting cost data and develops tailored application of the elements of life cycle costing based on authoritative knowledge (e.g., Maintenance Plans, etc.) of the unique characteristics of the weapon system and its support system.
You will review the attainment of Supply Support Program objectives to identify and correct deficiencies in establishing an integrated logistics support program.
You will capitalize on emerging technologies and capabilities as well as recommend changes to basic NAVAIR integrated logistic support management policies and procedures in the area of supply support.
You will manage the planning, implementation, and execution of modification programs and maintenance programs as related to supply support.
You will oversee and guide the efforts of all logistics personnel and associated facilities providing supply support activities.
You will monitor performance of supply support functions of contractors and provides inputs to performance objectives, budgetary requirements, performance monitoring, deliverable acceptance and associated contracting representative officer functions.
You will manage the PMA-263’s planning, implementation, and execution of NAVAIR’s government property and asset management to include audit readiness requirements.
You perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Identifying all activities involved in providing needed logistical support for a major aviation weapon system; 2) Coordinating maintenance and logistics planning, integration, and management of maintenance as well as logistics support elements throughout the aviation weapon system life cycle; 3) Monitoring progress in meeting the logistics plan and identify the cause and impact of delays or other problems; 4) Adjusting plans and schedules for all related actions as required by delays or changes to logistics requirements; and 5) Evaluating program plans for and provision of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and economy, and to develop alternatives when required.
