You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASS/RECRUITMENT) in the Administration and Resources Management Division of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will assist organizations in developing an effective short and long range staffing plan to meet current and future workforce needs
You will oversee reductions-in-force, transfers of function, transfers of work, realignments and closures.
You will assign work to to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
You will provide advice and guidance on recruitment flexibilities and hiring authorities; pay setting and compensation; and recruitment, relocation, and retention flexibilities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising on Federal recruitment, staffing, compensation regulations; and provides advice on Federal hiring flexibilities, hiring authorities, and incentives for recruitment, relocation, and retention resolving recruiting issues (realignments, transfers, recruitment incentives) and in classification (writing job duties, developing long term staffing strategies) to establish goals for human resources employees.
