DCSA's Counterintelligence Analysis Division, CI/Insider Threat Directorate, is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join us as an Intelligence Operations Specialist. In this role you will receive formal on-the-job training, analysis training, as well as developmental assignments. The Directorate collaborates with the DoD components and other federal agencies to collect and share CI and security information.
Duties
The incumbent will serve as an Intelligence Operations Specialist in the Counterintelligence (CI) Directorate and will conduct CI functional services in close coordination with U.S. intelligence, security, and law enforcement counterparts to identify, assess, and neutralize foreign intelligence and cyber threats to DCSA, the Trusted Workforce, the cleared national industrial base, and its technologies, supply chains, and personnel.
Major duties include:
Conducting all-source research and analysis to identify and inform stakeholders on foreign intelligence threats. Present findings in oral and written communications. Represent the agency at CI working groups.
Developing training materials and conduct CI awareness training for agency personnel, other government agencies, and cleared industry. Maintain liaison with US Intelligence and Law Enforcement Communities to exchange information and coordinate analytic efforts.
Performing administrative and information management tasks as directed by Division and/or Branch Chief. Advise leadership on all aspects of the program areas under this position's responsibility.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS 07 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes:
In-depth knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, practices, and techniques associated with intelligence, CI, law enforcement, threats to critical technologies and DoD programs, and related disciplines. This includes knowledge of terminology, methodology, and intelligence gathering techniques, and research and structured analytical techniques as applied to complex assignments in CI analysis.

Education
If substituting education for experience, for the GG-09 level, a Master's or equivalent degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such as degree or LL.B. or J.D.
Superior Academic Achievement does not apply to DCIPS positions.
If substituting education for experience, transcripts MUST be provided. Failure to provide transcripts will result in you being rated ineligible for this position.
