Duties
Perform analysis on a wide variety of healthcare operations data.
Research, manipulate, and analyze data related to acquisition of new, complex health initiatives.
Conduct business case analysis, market research, spend analysis and detailed benchmarks against other DoD and non-DoD health care systems.
Evaluate and assess current market conditions through development of market surveys and Requests for Information (RFI) from industry.
Has cost, schedule, performance, and risk reporting responsibilities for assigned acquisition programs.
Manage and assist in the acquisition of complex health care programs and capabilities.
Work with DHA, Military Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs), Service headquarters representatives to actively promote and train DHA acquisition programs.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This is a DOD Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience assisting with managing cost, schedule, and/or performance issues related to various healthcare programs; and collaborate with internal and external parties to implement business processes; and assisting with project management to enhance customer satisfaction. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required specialized experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the specialized experience qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
