About the Position:
This position supports the mission of the DHA, Deputy Assistant Chief for Financial Operations (DAD FO) J8, Facilities Enterprise (FE) Division, and is located in Falls Church, VA.

Ideal candidate possesses the following preferred experience: Professional experience in programming, budget planning and/or execution of defense health programs.
Duties
Direct, manage, and coordinate the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) of DHA Facilities Enterprise requirements within DHA.
Provide advice and counsel to the DHA Director, the DHA CFO, the USD(C)/CFO, the ASD (HA) and the ASD (Sustainment) on medical healthcare facility issues.
Respond to queries from the Defense leadership, Members of Congress, the public media, beneficiary advocacy and other special interest groups, and other sources as required.
Develop annual Facility Requirements Development for Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization, and IOT funding and track annual execution.
Provide direct supervision of a multidisciplinary staff, including contractors.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- One-year Supervisory Probation Period may be required.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing policies and procedures regarding Department of Defense construction acquisition, budget planning and/or execution of construction programs within the Department of Defense; reviewing methods to create solutions for issues in a civilian or military healthcare system, providing briefings to senior personnel; and overseeing personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
