You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SYSTEM ACQUISITION GROUP, LOGISTICS INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Positions will be filled within PMA274, Presidential Helicopters and the Advanced Development Team - both within the PEO(A) portfolio. Duty Station: Patuxent River, MD

Duties

You will develop integrated product support elements (IPSE) or Sustainment planning and supportability requirements for program documentation and manages the development and preparation of logistics sections of these documents. You will manage product support integration with product support disciplines executing throughout the life cycle of naval aviation systems and equipment. You will exercise resource responsibility/authority over support budgets through the NAVAIR Budget process You will identify all activities involved in providing needed logistical support; to integrate the actions required of each activity into a comprehensive logistics plan in support of or to be incorporated into overall program plans. You will interface with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the Command, to include DoD, the Fleet, OPNAV and other services.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or DS-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Supporting the 12 Integrated Product Support elements development, acquisition, production and sustainment phases of the weapons systems. 2. Tracking emerging technologies and capabilities to drive logistics requirements throughout the entire life cycle of the weapons systems. 3. Leading logistics professionals across multi-dispersed geographical areas to determine trends in all Integrated Product Support Elements. 4. Identifying deficiencies in the provisioning of spare parts, repair manuals, test equipment, and support items. 5. Forecasting logistics financial resources, planning and execution of funds. 6. Creating and updating logistics documentation, (i.e life cycle sustainment plan), while contributing to the Acquisition Strategy, test & evaluation and the systems engineering plan.
