Duties

Serves as the directorate administrative support specialist, timekeeper, and training coordinator. Keeps directorate and division managers informed of issues concerning personnel operations, training, and changes/revisions in regulations, procedures, and policies affecting administrative functions. Serves as the directorate Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS) coordinator. Provides property management and procurement services essential to the operation of the directorate. Maintains directorate leadership calendars, schedules, and appointments based on personal knowledge of workload and current issues of importance. Arranges for annual summits, including location, schedule, agenda, and attendance list. Provides program support for the directorate Infrastructure Readiness and Investment Program. Receives, or prepares taskers and assigns and distributes to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Secret Clearence.
  • TDY 10% of the time.
  • This is a Term position scheduled to last 4 years.
  • Term employment is subject to a one year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights.

Current Department of Army Civilian EmployeesPriority Placement Program, DoD Military Spouse Preference (MSP) Eligible In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requiremenents described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Managing the utilization of office equipment to submit purchase orders; 2) Reviewing/preparing format, grammar, and editing of a variety of correspondence in accordance with existing regulatory guidance; AND 3) Providing administrative oversight to multiple projects, taskers, and administrative functions for an office. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementManages and Organizes InformationWritten Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
