About the Position: Serves as an Operations Officer in the Current Operations (CUOPS) Branch of the Operations Division, Headquarters, Installation Management Command (HQ IMCOM), which provides operations support services to HQ IMCOM, five (5) IMCOM- Directorates (regional offices), and IMCOM managed installations.
This is a TEMPORARY position not to exceed one year.
Duties
Responsible for providing DA and IMCOM Directorates staff with assistance, advice, and analysis in reference to current operations and operating support services programs.
Develops methodology, programs and directives to support IMCOM Directorates with oversight of current operations.
Works with IMCOM-Directorates staff to conduct all coordination with the other IMCOM-Directorates' and other agencies ensuring staff actions and tasking requirements are met in a timely manner with high quality.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with operational, organizational, and functional missions and relationships between HQ IMCOM and staff, the field, HQDA, other Commands, services, and outside agencies. Preparing After Action Reports (AAR), Mission Messages, Warning Orders, Fragmentary Orders and Operation Orders and related documents to include organizing, formatting, assuring accuracy and completeness of the command responses. Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on producing documents in Word and in preparing briefings in PowerPoint. Developing courses of actions using the Military Decision Making Process, management principles, methods, and techniques to conduct comprehensive analyses and assessments of command administrative systems, processes, operations issues and programs to improve the coordination and integration of critical mission and mission support actions, projects, and activities affecting the command's ability to support units, soldiers, and commanders in the field. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
