You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST for NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT on the WSS User Management Team. This announcement may be used to fill other openings in WSS N62.

Duties

You will provide support on all aspects of information technology (IT) System User Management and Access or Supply Planning, Inventory / Materials Management or other Data activities. You will collaborate with technical and functional teams, business partners and other internal and external stakeholders to solve problems, resolve customer service issues and recommend solutions to systemic problems. You will develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions and training materials, conduct training sessions and assist personnel on the use of Navy ERP and SAS. You will communicate information up and down the leadership chain in support of assigned tasks, recommendations and milestones. You will research, evaluate, and provide analysis of business processes and provide recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supply Systems Analyst experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1.) Providing support on all aspects of information technology (IT) System User Management and Access or Supply Planning, Inventory/ Materials Management or other Data activities. 2.) Applying functional knowledge to solve problems and recommend solutions to support a large user base. 3.) Collaborating with technical and functional teams, business partners, and other internal and external stakeholders to resolve user and customer service issues and problems. 4.) Analyzing, extracting, and summarizing data and identifying significant business trends and issues to communicate to upper management. 5.) Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions and training materials, conducting training sessions and assisting personnel on the use of Navy ERP and SAS software. 6.) Researching, evaluating, and providing analysis of business processes and provide recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.
