You will serve as a LEGAL ASSISTANT (OFFICE AUTOMATION) in the Legal Section, School of Infantry East, Training Command of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You are responsible for determining legal? office; publication requirements and monitoring the receipt and distribution of publications.
You will monitor update of commercially, procured legal, publications, legal administrative standing operating procedures; ensure preparation of requisitions for legal volumes, publications and periodicals through military and commercial sources.
You will receive visitors and telephone calls, tactfully screens to as certain the caller's identity and the nature and purpose of the call.
You will use the full range of functions, including advanced processes of one or more word processing software applications to
produce a wide variety of documents.
You will develop and produce comprehensive management information reports for internal and external use.

- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Drafting and processing legal correspondence to convey decisions, requests, or other information; 2) Maintaining files of investigations, courts martial, separation and legal reports; 3) Communicating with various court support, visitors and attorneys; and
4) Reviewing documents with legal implications for accuracy and completeness.
