This position is located in the Workforce Operations, Communications, and Reporting Branch (WOCRB), Division of AIDS (DAIDS), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health (NIH), U. S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Duties
Serve as first-level supervisor over multiple Public Health Analysts and oversees and directs the work of multiple contract employees.
As a first-level supervisor, the incumbent: Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
Serve as the focal point within DAIDS for internal and external communications on Division programs and research activities.
Oversee the management and development of content for the DAIDS Learning Portal, which houses online training courses on clinical research that are available for staff at NIAID-sponsored clinical sites around the world.
Serve as a liaison with other Divisions, Branches, as well as the Office of AIDS Research (OAR) and other organizations, on communications and the development of written materials in response to requests received from a variety of sources.

Qualifications
You qualify at the GS-14 level, if you meet the following qualification requirements:
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: managing internal and external communications programs to disseminate information on research programs; developing communications materials and outreach efforts to provide information on research programs and issues; managing clinical research training programs and content; coordinating communications programs with other organizations and staff.
