The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Chief, Crypto Acquisition, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over two or more first level supervisor section chiefs assigned to the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (HNC), Financial Management Branch (HNCF).
Duties
Duty 1: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of AFLCMC/HNCF employees ensuring the branch complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs
Duty 2: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors. Advises staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher level management or headquarters
Duty 3: Advises the Chief, Financial Management Branch, Senior Materiel Leader (SML), and his/her Program Managers on financial and acquisition strategies.
Duty 4: Develops and implements financial policy and procedures for the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) and implements Division, Center, Command, and Air Force financial policy
Duty 5: Performs planning and reporting duties in support of the Chief, Financial Management Branch, SML and assigned programs

- Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Sensitive information, Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

- This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). Unless specifically waived by the appropriate Component
Official (i.e., the Director of Acquisition Career Management for the Component,

following are statutorily mandated requirements (Reference 10 U.S.C. 1733 and 1737):
- a. Employee must be a member of the Acquisition Corps at the time of appointment.
b. Employee must execute, as a condition of appointment, a written agreement to remain in Federal Service
in this position for at least three years.
- In signing such agreement, the employee does not forfeit any
employment rights, nor does such agreement alter any other terms or conditions of employment.

- Employee is required to submit an initial and annual OGE 450 (Financial Disclosure) in accordance with the Joint
Ethics Regulation.
- This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position IAW the national Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)
2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d; shall comply with the
requirements of this certification program.
- The incumbent may be required to work overtime or an irregular work shift.
Qualifications
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of the financial management principles, concepts, policies, and laws; acquisition functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve acquisition problems; and all aspects of life cycle integrated financial support; of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures; ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources and to plan, organize, and direct the staff of an organization including special study teams and task forces composed of members from different organizations and commands; Skill in stratifying resources against approved programs; planning, presenting, and executing budgets; analyzing budget impacts on programs and forecasting long-term funding requirements; reviewing, evaluating, and presenting data; and supporting analysis of financial management programs and activities' specialized documentation. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
