You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Acquisitions Branch of the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Program Office, Strategic Systems Programs (PMOSSP) of CPS PROGRAM OFFICE.
Duties
You will develop the assessment of CPS program financial health by tracking, coordinating and analyzing overall program technical and financial schedules and
milestones.
You will assist Leadership with the preparation and review of technical and financial briefings to various customers and stakeholders.
You will coordinate and assist with the preparation of statements of work and ensures timely and effective preparation of sole-source justifications and source
selection plans.
You will coordinate CPS financial and program responses to external requests from Government stakeholders to ensure that timely and accurate response is
provided.
You will assist with planning, formulation and review of future budgetary requirements, including changes to CPS Acquisition and program plans to ensure SPC
has allocated sufficient budgets for program execution.
You will provide advice, assistance and recommendations of a financial management nature to eliminate problem areas and improve operations.
You will develop and review guidance on financial management and budgeting to ensure that funds administration and accounting are appropriately monitored and an adequate system of internal control is functioning.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reviewing and implementing financial management policies and programs and utilizing various financial systems (to include Navy ERP, PBIS, NEPS, and PDOCs ) to prepare and address financial plans and budget execution.
