You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Budget Division of Naval Acquisition Career Center (NACC) Field Office.
Duties
You will analyze program execution for conformity to objectives, goals, regulations, policies and procedures.
You will develop organizational internal control change assessments and recommend corrective action associated with noncompliance with Navy audit and MICP policy, rules or regulations.
You will provide advice, guidance and assistance to internal and external points of contact to ensure compliance.
You will establish, maintain, evaluate, improve, and report on internal controls for the mission functions.
You will develop and implement an evaluation system to determine whether safeguards exist to prevent the occurrence of waste, loss, unauthorized use, or misappropriation of resources.
You will establish policies and procedures for accomplishing programs in accordance with standards prescribed by the Comptroller General in the areas of audit compliance, accounting and administrative controls.
You will lead audit reviews and responses for all NACC Budget Division requirements including MICP, DAR-Q, PPMPA, and/or internal Audit Compliance-related visits.
Requirements

- Must be willing and physically able to travel (approximately 10% travel).
Qualifications
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience conducting internal controls assessments or studies;
Experience leading audit reviews;
Revising business processes or procedures to prevent unauthorized use or misappropriation of resources; and
Recommending process improvements to leadership to enhance compliance and accountability.
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Assisting with conducting internal controls assessments;
Producing written reports of findings to a senior team member; and
Recommending changes to procedures to enhance compliance.
