About the Position: This position is with Healthcare Operations, Patient Administration.
Duties
Oversees and directs resources to manage the mission tasks, resourcing, funding, human capital, policy development and process oversight for PAD throughout the DHA.
Develops risk mitigation and contingency plans for programs requiring PAD support essential to accomplish the MHS mission.
Monitors status of projects and coordinates actions to resolve problems that may jeopardize or delay high-priority programs.
Develops and implements policy and procedures for the PAD organization.
Coordinate with other Government agencies to ensure effective and timely sharing of health records information, meets their needs and is in accordance with all applicable laws.
Evaluates the information management requirements of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Space Force, and streamlines Information Management processes.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Basic requirement for a Health System Specialist, GS-0671-13 position: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating information management requirements, streamlining information management processes and monitoring the status of projects to prevent delays.
