You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the G-9 Division, Assessment Branch of MARFORCOM NORFOLK.

Duties

You will develop metrics to monitor, implement, or improve the performance of organizations workforce to affect change. You will develop measures of effectiveness and performance to evaluate performance and risk in the operational environment. address the linkage between strategic measures and operational requirements. You will provide analysis supported by qualitative and quantitative data to senior leaders to influence resource allocation, organizational change or process modification. You will conduct training on Continuous Process Improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma, and the Theory of Constraints. You will use Microsoft Office products to create analytical models for evaluating administrative operations. You will present high level decision support briefings to allow top management to resolve challenges and remove obstacles to move the strategic plan and initiatives forward. You will provide guidance on congressional statues, administrative policies, regulations, and directives that affect the programs and initiatives for mission objectives.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
  • This position may require intermittent scheduled or scheduled overtime.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Serve as an Assessment Analyst by developing guidance, oversight, planning, and execution of operational and administrative continuous process improvement for military programs; implement strategies for training tools and techniques to improve mission requirements; research, prepare, and provide decision papers and/or briefs to present to a diverse audience.
