You will serve as a Logistics Management Speciaist within NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Duties
You will provide acquisition logistics guidance to all designated activities and personnel who support the NAVAIR METCAL Program.
You will develop and implements policies, control and operating procedures for all aspects of METCAL ILS.
You will oversee all acquisition logistics activities associated with metrology and calibration maintenance support development and implementation.
You will synthesize critical management issues, documentation, and relevant information to support effective program reviews.
You will manage cost, schedule and performance of METCAL Milestone execution related to common and peculiar Support Equipment, Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) and CALSTD acquisition.
You will prepare briefings for all events leading up to Milestone execution.
You will prepare Milestone documentation.
You will prepare all acquisition status reporting documents and reviews.
You will participate in source selections.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Comprehensive knowledge of METCAL Program Principles, Theories, Techniques and Methodologies.
2. Understands the operation, logistics and administrative relationships and responsibilities associated with the METCAL Program.
3. Extensive knowledge of metrology and logistical disciplines as they relate to aviation Intermediate and Depot-level calibration and maintenance.
4. Knowledge/experience with complex organizations, procedures, processes, information systems including the determination of maintenance process requirements for electronic, electrical, mechanical, and dimensional systems.
5. Familiarity with test equipment and procurement; management, staffing and work loading of maintenance facilities supporting information/production control systems.
6. Mastery of advanced concepts, principles, and practices of all aspects of the broad field of logistics management.
7. Expert knowledge of the DOD Planning, Programming and Budgeting process, administrative relationships within the DON and NAVAIR related to logistics acquisition and Fleet support of systems; administrative relationships with supporting field activities, and broad knowledge of policies and procedures
