This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Human Resources Division This position primary purpose is to serve as Section Chief for the Program and Workforce Analytics Section and is an expert advisor in techniques applicable to data collection; evaluating staffing and organizational implications that result from workload expansions or contractions. Oversees process improvements among and between service providers, customers, senior managers, and other stakeholders.

As a Supervisory Program Analyst, your typical work assignments may include: Performing the full range of supervisory duties. Serving as a representative on Data Scientist task forces to research, develop, and implement Human Resources policies, practices, and innovations. Leveraging analytical methodologies, relevant internal and external (benchmarking) data sources, modelling and programming languages to report on, simulate, explain and predict outcomes and insights. Using extensive skill and subject matter expertise to establish process improvement capabilities. Recommending new policy or change in existing policy across various disciplines including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. Qualification claims will be subject to verification. You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level applying a wide range of qualitative and qualitative methods for assessing and analyzing process and systems related to Human Resource programs, data, and work areas. Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
