About the Position: Army Contracting Command delivers contracting solutions in order to support the Army and unified land operations anytime and anywhere. This position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the lowest salary of the NH-IV level and no greater than 33% more than the lowest level or if the incumbent's salary will be placed on a salary control point at the incumbent's existing salary.

Duties

Resolve critical financial management and/or Command support issues and guides cost analysis processes by enforcing policy and procedures throughout the command structure. Provide major subordinate command oversight in managing current and prior year program accounts and reconciling programmatic issues. Provide oversight for interfacing financial applications to include Manager?s Internal Control Program, Contingency Operations Planning, supply purchases, timekeeping, civilian payroll, travel, systems access and delegated authorities. Plan, schedule, and conduct a variety of business management projects and studies in support of the G8 and in collaboration with Army Material Command (AMC) and subordinate commands.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • This position requires Level III certification in Financial Management within 24 months of occupying the position.
  • This position may require the employee to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
