This position is located in the Office of Human Resources (OHR). The OHR is responsible for directing and managing human resources management program for the agency. The purpose of this position is to serve as a HR Business Partner and senior advisor to the Director/Deputy of the Office of Human Resources (OHR), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), performing key strategic analyses to identify and achieve the desired outcomes within the agency.

Duties

As a Supervisory HR Specialist (Strategic Recruitment) GS-0201-14, your typical work assignments may include: Conducting comprehensive strategic analysis on OHR support to their customer, involving operating, mission and/or product/ service needs, with customer focused- immediate response to queries and personalized customer service emphasis; Initiating group interventions to align OHR business practices with desired customer outcomes; Facilitating OHR business operations in adapting to changes in organization needs and expectations and fosters and implements a value-added approach with customers by providing organization support in ways that customers have not yet perceived. Serving as a troubleshooter to craft unique solutions to perceived or real customer service problems while ensuring no lessening of overall program integrity. Routinely providing expert advisory, consultative, and technical services to program and line managers on a broad range of complex human resources issues.

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements: In order to qualify for the GS-14 grade level, applicants must possess at least one year of experience (52 weeks) performing at the next lower grade level (GS-13) work such as: Work experience serving as a technical advisor in the development of sourcing strategies, as well as in the development of new, creative recruiting channels; Work experience developing recruitment content on agency information portals and established action plans; and Work experience organizing and executing a broad range of events, career fairs, conferences and college recruiting activities, including those that are diversity-focused, and oversee the direction of the agency internal recruiter program. The SF-50 must include your position, title, series, grade, step, tenure (1 or 2), and type of service (Competitive). NOTE. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
