You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst located in SUP0151 Data Metrics and Analytics of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA .
Duties
You will utilize automated financial systems to extract, interpret, and analyze financial reports and statistical data.
You will analyze and interpret financial data from multiple financial systems to identify issues and determine trends.
You will advise or assist management on account and financial matters.
You will evaluate and identifying accounting system deficiencies, policy issues to take or recommend corrective action.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level 2 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
GS-13
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the applying principles, concepts, and practices concerning financial management and accounting in order to provide subject matter expertise and technical support for Navy ERP finance and accounting business processes. Specialized experience must include the following: 1) Utilizing automated financial systems to extract, interpret, and analyze financial reports and statistical data; 2) Demonstrating problem solving and critical thinking skills; 3) Mining, analyzing and interpreting financial and logistical data from multiple business systems to identify issues and determine trends; and 4) Demonstrate ability to handle large volumes of data, perform data analytics, and have a working knowledge and experience of programming tools
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying principles, concepts and practices to perform assignments concerning financial management, accounting or budget. Specific work experience must demonstrate all of the following 1) Utilizing automated financial systems to extract and interpret financial reports; 2) Demonstrating problem solving and critical thinking skills; 3) Mining and interpreting financial and logistical data from basic business systems to identify issues; 4) Demonstrate ability to handle large volumes of data and have a working experience of programming tools
