About the Position: This is a Permanent position with Directorate of Human Resources on Fort Jackson, S.C.
Telework information: Situational Telework Only, Including emergency and OPM prescribed unscheduled telework.
Duties
Serves as Lead Human Resources Assistant responsible for leading three or more employees in clerical or other one- grade interval occupations in accomplishing the work of the Military Personnel Division (MPD).
Distribute workload among employees, assuring timely accomplishment of assigned workload, establishing priorities, and maintaining records of work.
Perform a wide variety of tasks pertaining to Military Personnel Service Support coverage area of Student Services.
Audit accuracy of documents, eligibility of Soldiers under various programs, file maintenance, discipline, data-base input accuracy, and team systemic approach for mission completion.
Conduct individual and group briefings and interviews with Soldiers.
Provides information and support to Soldiers regarding In/Out Processing, Assignment, ID Card Services, Transition Processing, Special Actions, Student Services and Pending Officer and Enlisted Promotion Boards Schedules.
Requirements

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
