You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST in the NAVAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE SERVICE (NCIS) of NCIS.
Duties
You will ensure effective management and integration of various resources required to sustain the NCIS RDA and NS programs.
You will maintain expertise on threats affecting RDA/MTAC/NCIS mission areas and advise RDA and/or MTAC leadership ? verbally and/or in writing - on emergent issues.
You will provide consultation and guidance to RDA and MTAC leadership, NCIS Special Agents (SAs), partner agencies and external customers and be able to speak intelligently at relevant meetings, briefings/discussions related to CI support to RDA.
You will ensure that all intelligence related program support activities are properly documented and reviewed for quality assurance.
You will engage with the Intelligence Community, law enforcement counterparts, and NCIS seniors with respect to intelligence and analytic program issues of relevance to RDA, the DON, and NCIS.
You will support senior DON decision-makers, NCIS leadership, DIIS Senior leadership, and NCIS SAs.
You will serve as a first-level supervisor overseeing the daily work of Counterintelligence (CI) Analytic professionals in the Neptune Silo (NS) program, provide CI support to Department of the Navy (DON) Research, Development and Acquisition (RDA).
You will possess a senior working-level knowledge of counterintelligence and criminal analysis and understand the associated administrative program requirements, resource, and stake holders.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- A polygraph may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading, analyzing and evaluating complex counterintelligence and technical information collection initiatives.
