You will serve as a READINESS ANALYST in the MARFORNORTH of MARINE FORCES NORTHERN COMMAND.
Duties
You will assess the readiness of installations and Fleet Marine Force (FMF) units to accomplish core and assigned missions.
You will identify shortfalls and pass them to the Readiness Officer.
You will assess and tracks readiness to support multiple OPLAN requirements.
You will support the development of mission-essential tasks and standards for units and installations supporting MARFORNORTH crisis or contingency response.
You will brief readiness shortfalls to various staff and service level working groups.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector examining and supporting the readiness of installations and units, determining subsequent effects on missions and plans, developing recommended mitigation strategies, and tracking corrective actions.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
