You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST with the Navy Credentialing Programs of CIVILIAN PERS SUPPORT STAFF.
Duties
You will manage the United Services Military Apprenticeship Program (USMAP) that develops the personal and professional capabilities of the Military Total Force.
You will be responsible for the daily execution of USMAP as well as any Department of Labor (DOL), and industry apprenticeship-related efforts, providing formal briefs to management officials on program objectives and accomplishments.
You will manage the establishment of DOL registered apprenticeships to enable eligible and authorized Service members to obtain and maintain professional credentials that enhance their career and increase their competitiveness in civilian careers.
You will foster collaboration among Military Departments, DOL, Department of Veteran Affairs, and other Federal agencies to coordinate military apprenticeship policies, including standardization of processes, access, and accountability.
You will routinely coordinate with each Service training proponents and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to obtain enlisted Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) data allowing apprenticeship opportunities to be re-evaluated and adjusted as needed.
You will overses the annual review of all Services? Rates/MOS/AFSC to identify Apprenticeship eligibilities/opportunities and update USMAP instructions, guidelines, and procedures.
You will develop and maintain the USMAP website and provides standardized content as recommended to ensure the website minimum content and standardized appearance is recognized and understood across the Military Departments.
You will analyze learning opportunities, as identified in pertinent class/course materials and interactive learning environments of the Military Services in support of Apprenticeship eligibility requirements.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- There may be be some walking, standing, bending, or carrying of light items, such as papers, books, reports, data products, notebooks, or small parts; or driving an automobile in connection with travel to and from meetings and conferences.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of the credentialing/apprenticeship programs to support customer requirements (e.g., timelines, authorized users, and enrollments/progress/completion reporting); 2) Managing projects in conjunction with multiple federal agencies to maintain, change and improve programs; 3) Interpreting and utilizing federal educational processes, programs and tools to assist in the growth and development of employee careers; and 4) Using quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to develop standards covering complex functions.
